Xavier Farré is a professor in the Department of Economics. He obtained his degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona.
He is currently the director of the Terres de l'Ebre Campus and his main objectives are the coordination of Campus activities, relations with the centers and departments involved and with institutions. He also deals with relations with institutions and projection in his environment.
In terms of research, the areas of research and transfer focus on the economic impact of tourism and territorial development, with emphasis on the demographic element. As a result of this activity, he has written several strategic plans, studies and reports linked to events, municipalities and counties in the territory.
