Sabine Flamand is associate professor at the Department of Economics at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili. She has a B.A. in Economics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and a Ph.D. from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. Before joining the URV, she was a post-doctoral researcher at the Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon. Her research interests span the fields of Public Economics, Political Economy and Microeconomics, with a specific focus on contest theory, secessionism and fiscal federalism.
