Ricardo Flores-Fillol is Full Professor. In 2007, he earned his PhD from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), under the supervision of Inés Macho-Stadler. His dissertation analyzed the origins of competition in the airline industry and the phenomenon of airline alliances.
His research interests lie in Microeconomics, Industrial Organization, Transport Economics, and Regional and Urban Economics.
His work has been published in journals such as European Economic Review, Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists, Regional Science and Urban Economics, International Journal of Industrial Organization, among others.
