Miguel Manjón is associate professor in the Department of Economics at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), where he received his doctorate in 1999. He has held visiting professor positions at the universities of Warwick (Reino Unido), Tilburg (Países Bajos), KU Leuven y UC Louvain (Bélgica), has been Senior Research Associate of the University of Liège (Smart City Institute, Bélgica) and has collaborated with the Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis (Países Bajos), the European Commission (DG for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, GROW/A Competitiveness and European Semester) y la OECD (Regional and Rural Policy Unit, Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities).
His research interests include applied (micro)econometrics, with applications to industrial organization and regional and urban economics.
