Carlos Andrés Suárez is assistant professor in the Department of Economics at the Rovira i Virgili University, Tarragona.
He has a solid background in theoretical concepts and empirical methods in Regulation and Industrial Economics.
Work experience as an analyst in energy economics in several public sector entities in Colombia. He is interested in research and consulting in the areas of industrial organization, regulatory economics, competition policy and energy economics.
He is currently working on research projects that attempt to shed light on the role of public companies in market competition in developing countries.
