PRESENTATIONThe Industry and Territory Research Group (GRIT) is a research group on applied economics at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili. It was created in 1999 and is made up of URV professors attached to the Department of Economics. Some of its members are part of the ECONEXT research group, a research group recognised by the URV and the Generalitat de Catalunya. Its members carry out studies, focused mainly on three areas: industrial dynamics, the economics of innovation and efficiency and the economics of tourism. With a scientific and independent criterion, it carries out research work on applied economics with the help of the rigorous techniques offered by theoretical and applied economic analysis as well as transfer studies for companies and public administrations. The areas of application of the studies carried out are studies of the socio-economic impact of policies, estimates of the digital transition and the environmental effects on tourism and productive activity. Apart from research activity, the studies may be of interest to agents interested in knowing the magnitude of the impacts that occur or the evaluation of public policies. Its researchers work with time series, panel data or cross-sections. To carry out the research, they use different econometric software, in particular the Stata program to perform multivariate analysis, stochastic analysis and Bayesian estimates. grit(ELIMINAR)@urv.cat - Av. de la Universitat, 1. 43204, Reus (Tarragona, Spain) |
