Research Group in Economic Organization and Decision (GRODE)

PRESENTATION

The members of the Research Group on Organization and Economic Decision (GRODE) carry out their research in areas such as social choice, political economy, financial markets, industrial economics, economic policy, contract theory and game theory

Since GRODE was established at Rovira i Virgili University in 2005, its members have achieved competitive research projects funded by the Ministry of Education and Science, the Generalitat of Catalonia and other institutions both public and private

The main researchers at GRODE have been:

January 2005 - Dec. 2006: Antonio Quesada

Gen. 2007 - Jun. 2009: Bernd Theilen

Jul. 2009 - present: Carolina Manzano

During this period, GRODE members have presented different research papers at more than 20 international conferences. They have recently published more than 40 JCR (Journal Citation Reports) articles. These publications include journals such as Economic Theory, Games and Economic Behavior, International Journal of Game Theory, Journal of Finance, Journal of Mathematical Economics, Journal of the European Economic Association, Social Choice and Welfare and Rand Journal of Economics.

GRODE also has a series of seminars where its members present their work in progress and where, exceptionally, they welcome external guests.
